What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic care is a science, art and philosophy behind conservative, non-addictive, lasting pain relief. Chiropractors use manipulation, or the chiropractic adjustment, to realign joints through out the body in order to maximize efficiency of the skeletal, muscular and neurological systems. After an effective treatment, most patients experience decreased pain, decreased inflammation, decreased stress levels, increased range of motion, improved sleep, increased muscular output, and most importantly because of this new efficiency, your body will be able to naturally heal many of the underlying causes of your pain or dysfunction.
How long will treatment for my condition take?
The answer to this question is different for everyone, and depends on your previous care, previous medical history, current contraindications and complications with care, and your adherence to our treatment plan regimen. There is no one-size fits all answer to this question, however generally speaking, at Evolve Chiropractic we use a 3-step treatment process over the course of 6-10 weeks for many conditions we treat.
Why does Evolve Chiropractic use three phases of care?
Evolve Chiropractic utilizes a three phase protocol to treatment for a number of different reasons, but the primary reason is because it ensures effectiveness and efficacy in treatment resulting in long-lasting rewards.
Phase one is the Relief Phase - as the name suggests, this is where we initiate immediate pain relief for both acute and chronic conditions.
Phase two is the Recovery Phase - this is when the treatment is building a foundation for healthier tissues, and lasting pain relief.
Phase three is the Rehabilitation Phase - this is the most fun part of care! During this phase, treatment is focused on stabilizing and strengthening to prevent reinjury.
How much will treatment cost?
Once again, there is no one-size fits all answer for this question. That being said, care at Evolve Chiropractic is significantly less expensive than surgical intervention, pain management injections, and addictive opioids/pain-medications. Evolve Chiropractic accepts Medicare (non-participating, and upon request we provide patients a superbill at the end of their treatment plan. Additionally, we offer multiple value-based treatment plans to make sure each patient has a custom-tailored process that works for them. Can I still receive care if I’m pregnant?
Of course! Just make sure our chiropractors are aware of your full medical history at your initial examination. Many women who are expecting experience both pain relief and stress reduction from chiropractic care through the entirety of their pregnancy.
What can I do at home to increase the effectiveness of my care?
There are many actions we encourage at home to improve efficacy and effectiveness in care. A few of them include the following:
Getting proper sleep and hydration for rest, recovery and allowing your body the time to heal damaged tissues
Using an at home Vertiball therapy kit for relief of tightness, soreness and stiffness
Using an at home CBD application stick for inflammation relief and relaxation
Based on your condition and presentation at the initial examination, our licensed chiropractors will provide additional detailed homework with your suggested treatment plan.
