Do I Need To Bring Anything To My CDL DOT Medical Exam at Evolve Chiropractic in Dripping Springs?
Yes! Please bring your drivers license, and any documents required by the FMCSA for certification. This may include, but not limited to, diabetes tracking, hypertension tracking, specialty physicians’ notes, list of current medications, knowledge of past health history and familial health history. What Does The CDL DOT Medical Examination Include?
The CDL DOT examination at Evolve Chiropractic of Dripping Springs includes measurement of vitals including height, weight, blood pressure, pulse rate, and pulse oximetry. There are hearing, vision, and physical examinations to determine fitness for duty. There is also a mandatory urinalysis evaluation testing for protein, glucose, blood, and specific gravity. It is important to note that the medical examination of commercial drivers applying for both initial certification and re-certification does NOT include treatment of any condition a driver may present with. If additional tests or treatment are necessary, you will be referred out to your primary care physician for consultation.
